Farside is a trading bot platform. It helps you connect a wallet, choose paper or live trading, prepare a trading venue, create a bot, review risk, launch the bot, and monitor what happens.

These docs focus on what you can see and do in the product.

## What you can do

* Use paper mode to learn and test without live funds.
* Connect Hyperliquid or dYdX for live trading when supported for your account.
* Create bots for supported markets.
* Configure strategy, leverage, risk, grid, and notification settings.
* Review readiness checks before launching.
* Monitor bot status, orders, positions, safe mode, and notifications.

## First-time path

The safest first-time path is:

1. Connect your wallet.
2. Choose paper or live trading.
3. If using paper mode, continue without live venue setup.
4. If using live trading, connect the trading venue and complete funding/approval steps.
5. Create a bot with conservative risk.
6. Review the bot and readiness checks.
7. Launch only when the product shows the setup is ready.
8. Monitor the bot after launch.
